Its also the Feast of the Holy Father Saint Benedict who this year, is an important feast as I study at a Benedictine Archabbey. St. Benedict, ora pro nobis!!!
What a debt of gratitude Western Civilization owes him. Just a quick thought, our modern world isn't much different from his world which was experiencing the chaos and destruction of the Fall of the Roman Empire. Now go protect yourselves with a Medal of Saint Benedict...it really works. And according to this one book I read on it, it seems to be particularly beneficial when water that has had a medal dipped in it is drunk.
